My name is Shinnequa Clemente nick name Sheik , I have been doing professional freelance artwork for many years . I have also done a few cons like Big Apple Con , Eternal Con, and RocCon, Garden state con, and many others I participated as a female artist for a small published book, that encompassed a collection of various female cartoonists work.
I work consists of cartoons, illustration , computer work and whatever else I can have time to draw as long as it involves something artistic. I have always had a love for a blank piece of paper and a pencil because there are no limits, I work with a variety of medium but my favorite medium to work with is Copic markers and colored pencils.
I am currently working on a children’s book and look to self publish in the future I have sown my work at a variety of Comic Convention, I have had work publish with friends of LuLu. I do work for various small companies as well as individuals.I am in the process of self publishing a children’s story
I was born in The Bronx, Ny and raised in MI, I moved back to Long Island, Ny. In my 11th grade Year and graduated from Roosevelt Jr, Sr High where I continued my education at School of Visual Art In Manhattan,Ny majoring in Cartoon and Illustration . Seven years later I graduated from Hofstra University at the top of my class with a M.S. in Art Education. I teach high school Art for grades 9-12 full time for the last 12 years. I am a single mom ,I love to draw, teach , play video games and I love to laugh.
