Jeff Massey

By day, Jeff Massey is an English professor at Molloy College, where he teaches courses in medieval literature, mythology, monstrosity, superheroes, and fantasy. Among other things, he has published articles on Beowulf, werewolves, and neo-medievalisms (not) found in Star Trek.

By night, Jeff writes comics with his wife, Kristin (primarily Red Riding Hood, Captain Hook, and the Oz series for Zenescope Entertainment). He often teams up with Brian Cogan to write about Monty Python and pop culture; together, the two have published Everything I Ever Needed to Know About _________* I Learned from Monty Python as well as essays on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stan Lee, God, and Spamalot. The two are currently plotting a book on Nerdcore music.

When not writing or teaching, Jeff enjoys leafing through long boxes, cavorting with Grendelkin, and mocking the existence of synthahol; his spirit animal is a were-rabbit.
