DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Manhattan
Battery Tunnel to Belt Parkway, proceeding east to the Southern State Parkway, to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to Nassau Coliseum. Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (495) East to exit 38, Northern State Parkway to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.
OR
Triborough Bridge to Grand Central Parkway which turns into the Northern State Parkway, to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Queens

Grand Central Parkway into the Northern State Parkway to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.

From Brooklyn

Belt Parkway to Southern State Parkway east to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Bronx

Triborough, Whitestone, or Throgs Neck Bridge to Queens, pick up the Grand Central Parkway east to the Northern State Parkway to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Staten Island

Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Belt Parkway east to Southern State Parkway (25A) to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Upstate New York

New York Thruway to the Throgs Neck Bridge to Queens, pick up the Grand Central Parkway east which turns into the Northern State Parkway, to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Connecticut

Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) to the Throgs Neck Bridge, to the LI Expressway east (495) to exit 38, the Northern State Parkway east, to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Westchester

Route 95 to the Throgs Neck Bridge, to the LI Expressway east (495) to exit 38, the Northern State Parkway east, to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Southern or Central New Jersey

New Jersey Turnpike to exit 13, Goethals Bridge, across the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Belt Parkway east to Southern State Parkway (25A) to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Northern New Jersey

George Washington Bridge to Triborough Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway east which turns into the Northern State Parkway, to exit 31A (Meadowbrook Parkway South) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Eastern Long Island (South Shore)

Sunrise Highway to Southern State Parkway to exit 22N (Meadowbrook Parkway North) to exit M4, follow signs to the Nassau Coliseum.


From Eastern Long Island (North Shore)

Long Island Expressway West (495) to exit 39 (Glen Cove Road south) to Old Country Road. Turn left and go east for one (1) mile to Merrick Avenue. Turn right to the Nassau Coliseum.


Commercial Vehicles

Travel East on Long Island Expressway / I-495 to Exit 39 South, which is the Glen Cove Rd. Exit. Travel South on Glen Cove Rd. approximately 3 miles to Old Country Rd. Old Country Rd. is the first traffic signal after driving under a railroad trestle & see the Carle Place Diner on the left side/ North East corner. Make left onto Old Country Rd. and travel East approximately 1.5 miles to Merrick Ave. Go South on Merrick Ave. approximately 1.3 miles passing five (5) traffic signals. Once past the fifth light, stay in right lane and look for a small sign on the right shoulder for Charles Lindbergh Blvd. / Coliseum & Nassau Community College. As you approach the sixth traffic signal, make the soft right onto Lindbergh Blvd. Proceed on Lindberg Blvd. to the next traffic signal. Which is Earl Ovington Blvd. Make left onto Earl Ovington Blvd and go to next traffic signal then make left into NVMC parking fields. See plows and storage containers on drivers left side.

 

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Take the Long Island Railroad to Hempstead train station, walk one (1) block to the Hempstead Bus Terminal. Take either the N70, N71, or N72 bus, which will drop you off on Hempstead Turnpike opposite the New Coliseum, or take the LIRR to Westbury train station and secure a taxi or car service.
